Never Let Go --David Crowder

A brother of ours recently blessed us with a copy of David Crowder's newest album Remedy. I have been really blessed by track #5 Never Let Go. The song has been especially good for me today. Annie's getting better --at least we hope and pray that she is. At any rate the last few days of caring for her day and night has been emotionally and physically draining on our household. The Lord started speaking to me about his faithfulness and constancy last week before the on-set of her "bronchitis-pneumonia" (which i will start calling "bronchmonia" :). So, when I heard those ideas expressed in this song this week I was increasingly blessed by The Father's love and the message expressed in this song. I was unable to locate an easy way to link the song itself here, but if you visit this link you can listen to any track on the Remedy album. And through it all, no matter how many times Annie wakes up during the night, how many breathing treatments she requires, or how many medications i must giver her---> HE remains constant. HE remains loving. He remains Good. And HE Never Lets go!

Never Let Go

When clouds veil sun
And disaster comes
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
When waters rise
And hope takes flight
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul

Ever faithful
Ever true
You I know
You never let go
You never let go
You never let go
You never let go

When clouds brought rain
And disaster came
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
When waters rose
And hope had flown
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul

Oh, my soul
Overflows
Oh, what love, oh, what love
Oh, my soul
Fills hope
Perfect love that never lets go

Oh, what love, oh, what love
Oh, what love, oh, what love
In joy and pain
In sun and rain
You’re the same
Oh, You never let go

Oh, Maria! I pray Annie gets better quickly. We're all too familiar here with the middle-of-the-night breating treatments and waking up exhausted the next day.
